Technical Assurance Auditor needed. Mostly remote role covering Exeter and surrounding area. Company Van provided.
Working hours: Full time (40 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Develop a strong working relationship with all levels of employees and promote a culture of engagement and an ethos of 'all together better'
2. Technical and H&S auditing of field operatives using our auditing systems and processes
3. To provide coaching, mentoring and support to action owners, and provide authoritative advice on the close out of actions
4. To assist the Lead Technical Auditor in the delivery of health and safety initiatives throughout the group
5. To assist the Lead Technical Auditor in developing processes, procedures, forms and documents as required
6. Use company systems to find and report on compliance
7. To provide support and guidance to operational managers with regards to forms, templates and accurate completion of any required HSEQ information, such as during incident investigation
8. Provide support and guidance to field operatives as required
9. To provide concise, factual and accurate information through status reports to the Lead Technical Auditor ensuring all information is available to enable effective decisions and improvements to be made
10. To carry out a skills assessment and specific audits on all newly joined engineers
11. Keep up to date with changes to trade and health and safety legislation
12. Assist operational managers with training/ testing of operatives for safety compliance, such as face-fit, safe isolation, etc.
13. All other duties within your level of competence, as directed by your line manager
Qualifications and Training
14. Conversant with all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects, Teams etc)
15. Current Gas (CCN1, Cenwat, Htrs, Ckrs) - Essential
16. Current Oil (101, 105e, 600a) -Willing to work towards
17. Commercial Gas (CoDNCO1, CDGA1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1a, TPCP1) -Willing to work towards IOSH Managing Safely - Willing to work towards Fire Warden -
18. Wiling to work towards 1 st Aid Trained -
Experience & Skills
19. Experience in issuing, following up and closing corrective actions
20. Experience in dealing with external auditors
21. Experience of working and communicating with a diverse range of people
22. Experience of writing and presenting reports
23. Knowledge and experience of operational activities within Gas Electrical and Construction industries
24. Management of health and safety on site
25. Computer literate Meticulous attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills
26. Ability to work independently and to take responsibility for own tasks
27. Able to organise own workload and prioritise tasks effectively
28. Ability to establish and maintain relationships at all levels
29. Hold a current valid driving license
30. A strong commitment to high quality customer service

£17.52ph salary on offer and the job will be made permanent after a successful 13 to 15 week probation period.
