An exciting opportunity for a Lead waiting List Co-Ordinator in Urology has risen within our team, which is based at County Hall in Taunton!
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the co-ordination and organisation of a comprehensive patient centred admission service ensuring continuity in achieving excellence in patient care within local and national time frames.
You will make decisions which will lead to good booking practice and the provision of an excellent support mechanism for both patients and clinical teams.
You will support and supervise lower band members of the Admissions Team to ensure admissions processes are followed and that waiting lists and theatre lists are managed efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications
Essential
1. NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent, or demonstrable relevant experience
2. Good standard of Education up to GCSE or O level (A to C) standard
3. Computer/Word processing qualification equivalent
Experience

4. Level of knowledge and understanding of waiting lists, hospital booking processes and medical terminology to be able to work at the required standard.
5. Proven experience of working with elective waiting lists.
