The salary for this permanent Occupational Health Advisor job is £40,000 per annum.

Main Duties:
* Deliver expert, evidence-based case management services for referrals related to attendance, fitness for work, and other occupational health (OH) advice requests.
* Produce professional, comprehensive, and evidence-based written reports.
* Offer expert guidance on legislative requirements and best practices related to occupational health.
* Conduct fitness medicals and health surveillance in accordance with best practice and Health Partners' policies and protocols.
* Assess the outcomes of medicals and health surveillance, ensuring accurate fitness advice is provided, and escalate cases where clinically necessary.
* Provide clinical supervision and support to other team members, such as OH Technicians.
* Ensure continued valid registration with the NMC and comply with NMC guidelines regarding professional conduct, clinical supervision, and continuous learning as a registered nurse.
Requirements of the Occupational Health Advisor:
* Registered Nurse (NMC Part 1)
* Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (Degree or Diploma)
* Current Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration
* Strong written skills with excellent attention to detail
* Effective communicator, capable of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
* Excellent time management and organisational abilities
* Clear understanding of personal competence and the ability to escalate or seek support when needed to ensure safe practice
* Proficient in IT and digital systems
* In-depth knowledge of data protection and confidentiality principles within occupational health practice
