Are you motivated to address the inequalities of opportunity that exist in society?
Are you focused on enabling all students to succeed and achieve their ambitions?
If so, this role in the Equality of Opportunity team at Teesside University may be for you.
This is an exciting time to join a vibrant, growing team focused on driving forward a holistic, evidence-informed approach to addressing the inequalities that exist for higher education students. Having launched our new Access and Participation Plan, we have ambitious goals to reduce or eliminate inequalities for how students access, thrive, and progress through higher education and transition out into graduate opportunities. The team works collaboratively with colleagues, employers, and our community to deliver our vision.
We are not fixed on the successful candidate having experience of working in an Access and Participation setting; this role may be of particular interest to a talented individual who has strong organizational skills and is able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to achieve our ambitions. We are, however, fixed on seeking an individual who is motivated by our mission and can work as part of a team to deliver results.
Does this sound of interest? If so, we look forward to receiving your application. For any informal inquiries, please contact j.ward@tees.ac.uk.
Please be advised that due to the minimum salary thresholds imposed by the UKVI, this post will not qualify for University sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
If you are shortlisted, your interview will take place in person. Please note that the University may ask you to participate in a number of selection activities as part of the recruitment process for this vacancy.
Interviews will take place on 10 December 2024.
