Our manufacturing client based in Nursling, Southampton are looking for a Electro Mechanical Technician or Calibration Technician to join their team. While calibration experience / knowledge is preferred,there is further training opportunities for the right candidate if they have an electro mechanical assembly,fitting ormaintenance background.


Job Description

The primary role of the Electro MechanicalTechnician will beto carry out mechanical and electrical repairs on equipmentand to evaluateand adjustequipmentto achieve true and accurate readings.


Key Responsibilities.

* Carrying out mechanical and / or electrical repairs to equipment.

* Working with the Operations team to achieve production targets.

* Once equipment calibration is completed, passing / scanning the results to create the certification.

* Labelling on equipment, showing the date of calibration or repair carried out and the next due date.

* Some travel may be required for this role but may be as little as 1-2 times per year nationally or internationally.
