We are recruiting for numerous General Practitioners to support an Out of Hours Service in Hull. We are seeking a General Practitioner to join our team in providing essential out-of-hours healthcare services. As a key part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play an important role in ensuring the highest standard of clinical care is delivered to patients across the Hull and East Riding area. This is an exciting opportunity for a fully experienced GP to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, delivering urgent care to those in need. Location: Hull, East Riding Pay: £80 p/h £250 Welcome Bonus Contract: Locum | Bank | Part-Time or Full-Time Days: Monday - Sunday | Nights included General Practitioner Main Duties & Responsibilities: Provide high-quality medical care in an out-of-hours setting, including telephone triage, diagnosis, treatment, and referral for patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions. Conduct consultations within the Primary Care Centre and complete home visits as required. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including Emergency Care Practitioners, A&E teams, District Nurses, Palliative Care/ Macmillan Nurses, and other support services. Ensure all patient consultations and treatments are accurately documented, with clear communication provided to patients and colleagues. Promote joint working across primary, secondary, and emergency care services. Contribute to the development of best practices and support the audit of service delivery. Take an active role in personal and professional development, with opportunities for training and annual appraisals. Work flexibly across the Hull and East Riding area to meet service needs, including providing support to other Primary Care Centres as required. Lead shifts as needed and offer support to less experienced staff. Qualifications & Requirements: Full GMC registration. Professional Medical qualification. Certificate of Prescribed or Equivalent Experience (JCTGP) or Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). Strong commitment to ongoing professional development. Previous experience in urgent care, out-of-hours services, or similar settings is highly desirable. The ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
