About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and adaptable General Cover Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Goole. The role involves covering various subjects across the curriculum, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of regular teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering engaging and effective lessons across different subjects
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies
* Ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
* Providing support and guidance to students, fostering their academic and personal growth
* Collaborating with school staff to ensure the smooth running of the school day
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
* Strong classroom management skills
* Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and subjects
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A passion for education and a commitment to student success
* A valid DBS check registered with the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
