Responsibilities:
Managing all administrative tasks related to warehouse operations
Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, shipments, and inventory - Export/Import
Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth logistics and processes
Assisting with compliance procedures and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations
Coordinating shipping processes, including documentation
Handling customer queries and providing exceptional service to meet their needs
Supporting the warehouse supervisor in day-to-day activities
Utilising computer systems to manage stock levels and generate reports
Being proactive in identifying areas for process improvement and implementing efficient solutions
Maintaining a tidy and organised work environment.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a warehousing or logistics environment
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
Familiarity with compliance procedures and health and safety regulations
Knowledge of export shipping processes, including documentation and customs procedures
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Proficiency in computer systems and software used for stock management and reporting
Additional Info:
7.30am-5.15pm Monday to Thursday 7.30am-12.15pm on Fridays
Salary/Rate: £12.25-£13.75 per hour
Start date; ASAP
