I have started working on a new role with a reputable Manufacturing/Engineering business in the Horwich area and am looking for a Procurement Manager.

Purpose of the role:
To assist with the development of the Purchasing strategy including implementation of the ERP System and generate savings and rationalize the areas of the supply chain whilst continually carrying out market research for improvements in supply, service, reduced cost and improved quality/delivery.
Responsibilities:
* To be responsible for the procurement and supply of raw materials and services within the Company including setting, planning, organizing and executing the Purchasing strategy, incorporating best commercial practice whilst adhering to agreed spending controls.
