Do you want to drive real transformation within the Enterprise Architecture team, driving cutting-edge solutions and aiding in building out a high performing architecture function?
Imagine working with one of the UK’s largest pension funds, overseeing £34 billion in assets. The firm invests in a diverse range of asset classes, including equities, fixed income, real-estate and infrastructure.
You will be coming in to shape the overall technology landscape, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with all aspects of business strategy and drives innovation. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Enterprise Architecture and Data Governance, supporting the implementation of key strategic outcomes and transformative change initiatives
While a technical background, especially in software development, is beneficial, it is crucial that you can work adeptly on both the technical and business sides within financial services or professional services. You’ll work closely with various stakeholders every single day, so your exposure to the overall business will be high.
You’re going to need experience with frameworks such as TOGAF as you will provide a strategic perspective across all architectural domains, portfolios, and programmes. This role will require people with skills in migrating legacy systems to the cloud, whilst delivering impactful solutions and present them effectively to the business and technology architecture teams will be invaluable.
Your work won’t just be limited to technology — you’ll bridge the gap between tech solutions and business strategy, ensuring a smooth integration of both. Having experience with maintaining and updated architecture blueprints is advantageous. You’ll need a technical background, strong problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for how technology can solve business challenges.
