We are looking for a receptionist/administrator to work at Oliver House School which educates pupils with autism and significant learning difficulties. This role offers the successful candidate a variety of responsibilities:
* General reception duties, answering telephones, taking messages, transferring calls.
* Welcoming visitors.
* Supporting Teachers & Teaching Assistants with requests for class groups.
* Health & Safety responsibilities and file maintenance.
* Daily delivery management and stock management.
* Creating education materials.
* Opening and distributing posts.
* Typing documents for pupil files.
* Annual Archiving

The successful candidate will be professional with a friendly telephone manner and have the ability to take accurate messages and field calls efficiently. We are looking for a candidate with administration experience who will work closely with the Senior Administrator who will provide full training and support in the role. The successful candidates will understand the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding and be welcoming to pupils, staff and visitors.
Within your role you will be required to support staff and pupils throughout the day with various administrative requests, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate qualities of being a team player and will have flexible approach to the role with some understanding of the daily challenges faced by our pupils and staff. A good working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel is essential, and a driving licence is desirable as there maybe a requirement to visit other sites on occasion.
