Are you a skilled professional van driver with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for ensuring efficient drainage systems? We have a role available in which you would be able to train as a Drainage Technician! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing drainage systems, diagnosing issues, and ensuring optimal functionality, particularly working with liquid waste. Training will be provided for essential certifications, including Working at Height, First Aid, Street Works, Jetting, and Manual Handling.
Payrate - £12.00
Basic Rota - Monday to Friday, (There may also be the requirement to work some weekends)
Hours are 08:00am starts, however due to the nature of the role we cannot guarantee a finish time, as there can be emergency drainage work that needs to be carried out immediately, you are paid for all hours.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspect, maintain, and repair drainage systems, ensuring proper functionality with a focus on liquid waste management.
2. Diagnose drainage issues and implement effective solutions.
3. Operate and maintain drainage equipment and tools.
4. Conduct regular maintenance checks and preventative measures.
5. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute drainage projects.
6. Document all maintenance and repair work performed.
7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
8. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and providing updates.
Skills, Qualifications, and Expertise:
9. Proven experience as a Drainage Technician or similar role.
10. In-depth knowledge of drainage systems and maintenance techniques.
11. Proficiency in using drainage tools and equipment.
12. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
14. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
15. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
16. Working at Height, First Aid, Street Works, Jetting, and Manual Handling (training provided).
