About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Site Manager, you’ll lead operations at the Linford Block Plant, delivering exceptional customer service, driving safety and quality standards, and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives. Your goal? To develop a market-leading product at optimal cost while fostering an empowered, high-performing workforce.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure a safe, sustainable working environment for all staff.
* Lead and manage change in a unionised environment.
* Develop and inspire your team to create a culture of accountability and delivery.
* Oversee Continuous Improvement activities across all site operations.
* Manage budgets effectively, driving EBITDA growth.
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, transport, and legal regulations.
* Provide operational reports on site performance and meet production and quality targets.
* Plan and execute capital investment projects to enhance safety and operational efficiency.
About You
We’re seeking candidates with proven experience managing a large production facility. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate:
* Leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
* A strong background in large-scale 24/7 manufacturing processes.
* Experience managing budgets and driving financial performance.
* Knowledge of safety, transport, and legal compliance in an operational setting.
* Engineering and/or project management experience (preferred but not essential).
* A positive, proactive attitude in fast-paced environments.
