Job Description
A client within the Public Sector based in South Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within the public sector.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to carry out stock condition surveys across the asset portfolio in order to
assess the condition of building components and their next replacement dates.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Undertake RdSAP surveys to produce EPC Certificates to measure transition to net zero carbon and reduce risk of fuel poverty.
2. Undertake PAS2035 or other relevant asset related assessments, as required, to facilitate the effective planning and delivery of future investment programmes.
3. Carry out HHSRS assessments of homes following up on any areas of concern to ensure customers health and safety is protected.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require a minimum of a relevant level 3 qualification, e.g.
construction or surveying.
It will be essential to have an extensive level of knowledge of the below:
4. A willingness to undertake further training as required, particularly in relation to PAS2035, HHSRS, Health and Building Safety.
5. Good working knowledge of construction types and building methods in order to effectively identify defects in domestic and non-domestic assets.
6. Experience of carrying out asset surveys or inspections.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £26.65 per hour Umbrella Ltd. (approx. £21.17 PAYE)
