Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with mental health needs, ensuring their safety and well-being, and promoting their recovery. Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients with mental health needs.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with relevant protocols and guidelines.
3. Monitor patients' progress, identifying any changes in their condition and responding appropriately.
4. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families, promoting a therapeutic environment.
5. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
7. Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and service delivery.
8. Engage in continuous professional development, attending training sessions and keeping up to date with the latest advancements in mental health nursing.
9. Promote a safe and positive working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and infection control measures.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification with a valid NMC pin.
2. Previous experience working in a mental health setting is preferred.
3. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of mental health conditions and treatments.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, managing time and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
6. Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach to care.
7. Willingness to work flexible hours, including days and nights, as required.
