To an extent, the role can be moulded to suit the successful applicant and salary will be dependent on experience. The firm are open to both part-time and full-time applicants.

Semi-Senior to Senior Accountant
Responsibilities:
* You will be working closely with other members of the team to provide sufficient accounting services to a variety of clients.
* You will be preparing accounts for unincorporated/incorporated businesses.
* You will be analysing account figures to spot trends and variances and identify any issues to the senior team.
* You will have high involvement in processing year end accounts and tax compliance queries.
* You will be involved in the preparation of management accounts.
* You will be processing VAT returns to a high standard.
* Forming client relationships across a range of businesses and sectors.
* You will be instrumental in mentoring and supporting trainee and junior team members.
Requirements:
* You should have knowledge of accounting systems in the marketplace (e.g., Sage, XERO, QuickBooks, etc).
* You should have experience in bookkeeping, VAT returns, and accounts preparation.
Audit Semi-Senior to Senior
Responsibilities:
* You will take ownership for the audit of a client reporting directly to the Manager, Director, or Partners.
* You will prepare audit files to the required standard.
* Liaison with the Tax Department on any tax related matters.
* Preparation of statutory and non-statutory accounts.
* Delegation of assignments and supervision of junior members of staff, followed by review of the work performed.
* Drafting of journals requiring you to understand fairly complex accounting principles.
* The completion of the assignment in accordance with the budget with any variations being promptly recorded.
Requirements:
* Working towards the ACA, ACCA qualification or AAT studier / qualified.
* Related experience from an accountancy firm.
