As a Project Engineer, you will be pivotal in directing, coordinating, implementing, controlling, and completing projects while aligning with the strategic goals and commitments of our business. This role involves facilitating collaboration among engineers and other skilled professionals, providing leadership, and identifying areas for productivity and quality improvements. You will guide your team to meet deadlines and continuously strive for operational enhancements.

Key Accountabilities
In this role, you will coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure flawless project execution, delivering all projects on time, within scope, and within budget. You will develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility, and ensure resource availability and allocation.
Your responsibilities include developing detailed project plans to track progress and key milestones, utilising verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs, and measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. You will report and escalate issues to management as necessary, manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders, and perform risk management to minimise project risks. Additionally, you will establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors, create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, and produce monthly status reports.
Skills and Experience Required
1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, chemical) from an accredited institution.
2. Technical Skills: Solid understanding of engineering principles, proficiency in relevant software/tools, and familiarity with industry standards.
3. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skill: Exceptional ability to analyse complex issues and devise effective solutions.
4. Experience: Internship or co-op experience in a related field is highly desirable but not essential
5. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities
6. Teamwork and Collaboration: Proven track record of successful teamwork
7. Soft Skills: Critical thinking, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Selection Process
The selection process will include a comprehensive 2-day assessment centre designed to evaluate candidates' technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and overall fit for the role. During these two days, candidates will participate in a series of individual and group exercises, including technical assessments, case studies, and practical tasks that simulate real-world challenges they may face in the role. Additionally, there will be opportunities for candidates to demonstrate their project management skills through scenario-based exercises and presentations.
The assessment centre will also include interviews with key stakeholders and senior management, providing candidates the chance to discuss their experiences, aspirations, and how they align with the company's values and goals. This rigorous process ensures that we select the most qualified and capable individuals who will contribute to the success and growth of our organisation.
