ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to my client continuing to grow they are now looking for a Senior Planner to join their Pre-Construction team. The projects that you will be involved in will be working on the multi utility and rail works, working on Thames Water, UKPN and Rail infrastructure projects. As well as long term stability the role can offer somebody great progression routes through the company with a view to running your own Planning team. You will be working on the power side of the business looking after a long term contract for SSWE where types of works includes substations and cable routes. I personally know a few people who have started in junior positions and have made their way up to senior roles and they still love working for this company.
On top of standard planning activities my client is looking someone who can assist in the compilation of pricing clarifications for inclusion with tender submission. You must have had experience working for a well-known utility contractor or rail contractor. The successful candidate will also be involved in planning activities to go in line with the tender and contract requirements, liaise with management and engineers to review the progress of construction projects and address issues. The software you will be using will be Microsoft and P6.
The role will be based in their head office in their head office in Borehamwood but can also be based out of the office in Slough and will also include site visits into London.
