Company HENI, is an international art services business, operating at the intersection of art and technology. We collaborate with leading artists and estates across various domains including printmaking, physical artwork marketplaces, NFTs, publishing, digital, film production, art research, and analysis. Role We are looking for a hands-on and detailed Head of Inventory Management to work at our various sites around London. You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and tracking a comprehensive collection of art and other related items, ensuring proper cataloguing, storage, and handling of valuable artistic assets. This will be working across various locations, but you must be happy to be based for the majority of the time in our warehouse in South East London. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain a detailed inventory management system for items Catalogue new acquisitions, including condition reports, provenance, and documentation Monitor environmental conditions to ensure proper preservation of materials Coordinate packing, shipping, and receiving of artworks Manage digital database of collection inventory Conduct regular audits and condition assessments Implement preservation strategies and conservation measures Train staff on proper handling and storage procedures Required Qualifications 10 years experience in inventory and collection management or similar role Archiving experience would be advantageous Proficiency in collection management software Excellent organisational and documentation skills Knowledge of proper storage conditions for works on paper Experience with condition reporting and basic conservation principles Key Competencies Meticulous attention to detail Strong project management abilities Excellent written and verbal communication Problem-solving skills Team leadership capabilities Time management and prioritisation skills Salary Range Competitive salary commensurate with experience Full benefits package including health insurance, pension and life assurance
