Recruit4Staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading industrial company in their search for a Fabricator to work in their leading facility in Ellesmere Port.
For the successful Fabricator, our client is offering:
1. Up to £15 per hour
2. Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm
3. Temp to Perm opportunity
4. Overtime paid at x1.5
5. Ongoing training
The Role - Fabricator:
6. Ability to read Engineering drawing and Fabricate from drawings to tolerance
7. Fabrication of appropriate units to meet customer requirements according to order forms
8. Use machinery including press brake, ironworker, bandsaw, guillotine to cut/bend/punch etc various metals
9. Basic welding of steel using MIG welding plants
10. Safe use of hand tools such as Large Grinders, Drills and Petrol Con Saws etc.
11. Inspect work and identify and report and non-conformances
12. Ability to make jigs and fixtures to standardise production tasks to ensure quality of output is consistent
13. Train other members of the Fabrication team on tools, machinery and tasks
14. Redesign or improve tasks, methods, products etc to make them more efficient or make them task safer using your fabrication experience
15. Be flexible to get involved in some of the other basic processes as and when required and be a good team player to ensure paperwork is correct and complete.
16. To comply with all company health and safety, quality and environmental procedures and policies
17. Report any low stock items in time to the Site Team Lead
18. Willing to support site install teams as and when required
What our client is looking for in an Fabricator:
19. Qualifications in Fabrication or Engineering BENIFICIAL
20. Minimum 3 years experience in Fabrication ESSENTIAL
21. Experience in welding BENIFICIAL
22. Able to read and understand engineering drawings ESSENTIAL
23. Be able to work as part of a team ESSENTIAL
24. Good time keeping and positive attitude ESSENTIAL
