Knowledge, Skills and Training
Essential criteria
1. Registered Mental Nurse
2. Valid registration with NMC
3. Evidence of continuous professional development
4. Valid RMN registration
Job Specific Experience
Essential criteria
5. Able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care.
6. Risk assessment and management
7. The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines; organise work of self and others; supervising, teaching and assessing; self-motivated with the ability to motivate others; effective resource management.
8. Skills in managing complex cases.
9. Works well in a multi-disciplinary team.
10. 2 years experience post qualification
Desirable criteria
11. Uses initiative and can make decisions. Manages difficult situations effectively.
12. Awareness of Primary Care and Steps to Wellbeing.
13. Applies current research and theory into practice.
Information Technology

14. Competent computer skills, experience inputting information on RIO
