Education, Attendance and Welfare Officer
Location- Liverpool
Salary- £23,000 to £27,000 per annum
Full UK Driving Licence is required to travel between schools within Merseyside.
Teaching Personnel have an exciting vacancy at an outstanding school based in Liverpool. They are looking for a dedicated Education, Attendance and Welfare Officer to join there team.
The school are seeking a dedicated Education, Attendance, and Welfare Officer to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the well-being, attendance, and educational progress of the students. You will work closely with students, families, and staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
Qualifications:
* English and Maths level 2 / GCSE grade 4 or higher.
* Desirable: Business Administration relevant qualification.
* Desirable: Safeguarding qualification.
Skills:
* Highly motivated, energetic, and approachable.
* Effective administrative and organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft packages.
* Ability to work with parents/carers in potentially challenging circumstances.
* Efficient management of caseloads and communication in complex referral matters.
* Proactive problem-solving and anticipation of issues.
* Collaborative team player committed to organizational mission.
* Successful partnership working with parents and referring partners.
* Desirable: Ofsted Inspection experience (non-association independent schools framework).
* Knowledgeable about equality of opportunity, safeguarding, child protection, and inclusion issues.
* Swift identification and resolution of issues, ensuring follow-up and closure.
* Clear communication skills for diverse audiences.
Location

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
