The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance of all designated GFX Equipment to Harbour Acceptance Trial (HAT) standard including, IAW Unit Maintenance Management System (UMMS) and Non-UMMS maintenance.
Day-to-day, you will:
1. Configure GFX equipment and Infrastructure IAW RFMS in order to meet the requirements of the Trials Programme
2. Be responsible for the maintenance of all assigned GFX equipment IAW UMMS, BRs, JSPs, and OEM handouts
3. Ensure GFX is safe, maintained, available and configured for daily trials booked on RFMS
4. Work collaboratively with Combat Systems Engineers, Teams and Customers to provide support, SME advice and Maintainer presence to all trials that require assistance, including in situ support
5. Be responsible for fault-finding, defect rectification, reconfiguration of equipment and supporting monthly System Operator Checks as designated by the Operations Team
6. Ensure GFX defects are managed and investigated, registering defects on RFMS, updating defects on a regular basis and keeping the Operations Team informed
This role is full-time, 37 hours and fully on-site at our Portsmouth site.
