Job Description
Digital Waffle are currently recruiting for SC Cleared Data Cabling Engineers to support a key client based in the North West of England. This is a 3-month contract role, with the possibility of extension. We are looking for 4 experienced engineers to assist with critical infrastructure projects within a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation & Maintenance: You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of structured data cabling systems, including CAT5e, CAT6, fibre optics, and other related cabling solutions.
* Compliance: Ensure all cabling works are compliant with industry standards and best practices, particularly those related to security and data protection.
* Troubleshooting: Provide troubleshooting support for any issues related to data cabling, including fault finding and resolution of connectivity problems.
* Documentation: Accurately document all installations and maintenance work, ensuring records are kept up to date for audit and compliance purposes.
* Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers and site project managers to ensure the seamless delivery of cabling systems in a timely and efficient manner.
