Job Title: Director of Sales - corporate conference hotel

The Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Director of Sales to take on a strategic leadership role. You will manage the hotel's sales and marketing strategy, with a focus on maximising revenue from key corporate accounts, meetings, and events, while also driving new client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement the hotel's sales and marketing strategy
* Manage and grow revenue from key corporate accounts for accommodation and meeting/event sales
* Actively seek out new clients and revenue opportunities
* Build and maintain strong commercial awareness of the local and regional market
* Collaborate closely with the hotel management team to meet business objectives
Essential Skills:
* Extensive experience in Director of Sales (DOS) roles, ideally within corporate hotel companies
* Strong background in Meetings & Events Sales within the 4-star hotel market
* Commercially astute, with a keen understanding of local market opportunities, particularly in the West Midlands region. Knowledge of selling conference / M&E & corporate events as well as securing local accommodation accounts Volume.
* This is an on-property role with regular travel to appointments as required.
