Our client is looking for a pro-active and experienced Warehouse Manager to be a part of their ambitious growth plans. You'll be joining a great team which are looking to future-proof their business through an exciting period of transformation. Based onsite in Oldham, you'll manage a small team and be responsible for ensuring day to day KPI's are achieved; working closely with the wider team to optimise inventory & service levels.
What does the role entail?
* Overseeing the daily picking, packing, and transportation of distribution orders.
* Ensuring orders meet delivery schedules in both quantity and quality.
* Maintaining accurate stock records using Sage 200.
* Keep the warehouse organised and compliant with Health and Safety standards.
* Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff.
* Maintain clear communication with production departments and the sales office.

What do I need?
* Strong communication, leadership, and people management skills.
* Experience with Sage 200 is essential.
* Proven record in optimising stock & inventory performance.
* A background in Engineering or Fabrication environments would be ideal, as would previous history working for SME businesses.
* Ability to prioritise, multitask, and work under pressure.
* Results-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement.
