A range of specialisms exist in this essential and rewarding role, which had a broad scope including developing new RF based systems, research new technologies, analyse existing systems, analyse vulnerabilities and develop deployable RF applications.
You will have the opportunity to specialise in one area or work across multiple domains.
Typically, the candidate will be involved in one or more of the following:
1. Undertake detailed analysis of RF systems – from open source investigation through to test and measurement of the equipment under test, including vulnerability analysis.
2. Carry out reporting and recording investigations against standardised formats to enable further work by wider customer teams.
3. Design and development of bespoke research tools to enable complex analysis.
4. Support the development of mission systems through lab based testing and verification with the potential for field trial support.
The position will be full-time delivering cutting edge solutions for both customer and Lockheed Martin enterprises.

Required skills, qualifications and experience
Experience in at least one of the following will be essential:
5. RF communications implementation/analysis.
6. RF algorithm development and Digital Signal Processing.
7. Embedded systems vulnerability analysis.
Knowledge and/or experience of the following would be beneficial:
8. Real-time test and measurement using vector signal analysers
9. GnuRadio or OpenCPI
10. Software defined radios
11. Python and/or C/C++
12. Development on Linux and use of GitLab
