Description & Requirements
On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for a Digital Delivery Manager (Inside IR35) for a 3 month contract. Hybrid working with 3 days per week required in Corsham.

As a Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for the delivery of products and services and the performance of the team. You will build and maintain teams ensuring they are motivated and collaborating. You will identify obstacles and help the team to overcome them, focus the team on what is most important to the delivery of products and services, facilitate continuous improvement, and apply the most appropriate agile and lean tools and techniques.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
* Identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use and recognise when something does not work.
* Help teams to manage and visualise outcomes.
* Listen to the needs of technical and business stakeholders and interpret them, whilst managing their expectations.
* Report on financial delivery and monitor costs and budget, knowing when to escalate issues.
* Recognise when to move from one stage of the product life cycle to another and ensure the team is working towards the appropriate service standards.
* Manage the pace and tempo of the team and address internal and external risks, issues and dependencies.
* Identify and challenge organisational processes of increasing complexity and those that are unnecessarily complicated.
* Prioritise the most important or highest value tasks and remove blockers or impediments that affect plans and can develop a plan for difficult situations.
Essential:
* An active SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role; as a minimum, you must be eligible and willing to undergo these checks.
* Demonstrable experience in Project and/or Delivery Management.
* Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Budget Management experience.
* Experience of working on multiple projects.
Desirable:
* MOD / Defence experience.
* Experience of working on Telecommunications related projects.
