A Technical Support Officer (AutoCAD) (Street Lighting) within Highway Operations and Design at Lancashire County Council .
Scope of work
As a Technical Support Officer AutoCAD, you will assist with the delivery and development of a design function for outdoor lighting projects and low voltage distribution systems for a wide variety of both internal and external customers - alongside the day-to-day works relating to the existing street lighting infrastructure within 'Area West' Lancashire (Preston, Chorley, South Ribble, West Lancashire, Fylde, and Wyre) - including reactive and planned maintenance, fault repairs, and emergency works.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Support Officer (CAD) to join a small team of lighting professionals based at our Cuerden Depot in Bamber Bridge, Preston. The successful applicant will be working under the supervision of more experienced colleagues to provide a wide range of highway lighting design duties alongside the delivery of planned and reactive street lighting works related to the existing infrastructure.
