Job description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthodontist to join the dynamic team in Leicester. The ideal candidate will have a passion for orthodontics, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Diagnosing and evaluating dental and jaw conditions using diagnostic tools such as X-rays and dental models.
* Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans for patients, including the use of braces, aligners, and other orthodontic appliances.
* Monitoring patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
* Educating patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining their orthodontic appliances.
* Collaborating with other dental professionals, including general dentists and oral surgeons, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Staying updated with the latest advancements in orthodontic techniques and technology.
* Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification.
* Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program.
* Valid state dental license and orthodontic certification.
* Proven experience as an Orthodontist.
* Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in patient care.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
