Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a school based in Thornbury. We are seeking candidates who are confident and experienced working with complex educational, medical and behavioural needs. The appropriate candidate will be able to implement varied behaviour management strategies, be nurturing and empathetic when working in this setting.
The school caters for learners aged 2 – 19 who have severe learning disabilities (SLD) or profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). In addition, learners may have autistic spectrum conditions, hearing / visual impairments or physical disabilities.
The school boasts a range of up-to-date facilities such as:
* Spacious classrooms, with a separate small workroom. Each classroom has ceiling hoists.

* Sensory studios
* Secure play areas
* Sensory diet area
* Swimming/Hydrotherapy pool

* 08:30 - 4:30
* Term time only
* £12.90 per day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
