Ospringe CE Primary School is looking to appoint a personable, enthusiastic, efficient and well organised person to join our busy school office staff. The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support under the direction of the School Business Manager.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all parents and visitors to the school and should be confident in communicating with both adults and children. They must have good standard of English, Maths and ICT skills and be able to prioritise their tasks appropriately. Previous experience of working in an administrative role is desirable but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate. Working in the school office, it is essential that applicants have the ability and willingness to be flexible and use their initiative.

This is a temporary maternity cover role working part-time (term-time only) for 20 hours per week. The working pattern will be discussed at interview but ideally will be 9am to 1pm each weekday; the post will be paid on KR3 pro rata.
The selection process will determine the candidate’s capability and suitability for the post. This will include an assessment of literacy and maths skills. The closing date has been set as 6th September 2024, however we reserve the right to close the vacancy early if the right candidate is found. Interviews will be held on Tuesday 17th September 2024.
