Interim Systems Accountant

This interim opportunity requires a finance professional to support the Financial Systems Project Team with the final stages of the Oracle Fusion Implementation for a London Borough in preparation for its Go Live.
Key Responsibilities of the Interim Systems Accountant:
1. Support the system design work & reporting knowledge to ensure that the new Financial System Go Live and Data Archive Solutions are made available asap
2. Facilitate the data archive for the Oracle R12 system into the Oracle Cloud, enabling the decommissioning of the R12 Oracle system
3. Provide general (financial) support in reconciling any immediate issues with the system and finalising its implementation (especially related to AP, AR, GL and Projects)
Skills, experience and knowledge required of the Interim Systems Accountant:
4. Fully qualified accountant
5. Prior experience in systems accountancy for the Oracle Fusion Implementation (especially in AP; AR; GL; Workflow, Reporting, GO Close Down and Projects)
6. Working knowledge and expertise of the implementation process of Oracle Fusion, to provide sufficient support to the team in the required areas
