Int. Instructional Designer to support e-learning modules for a large insurance client -
Duration: 2.5 months (possibility for extension)
Location: Remote
The Learning Designer creates innovative, digital, adaptive and engaging solutions aligned to the best practices and standards for design delivery. The Learning Designer challenges the status quo with forward thinking and collaborates to meet the needs of our team within digital learning solutions.
Must Have Skills
1. 5+ years of instructional design experience
2. Experience using curriculum design tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Connect and Snagit
3. Expert knowledge of modern adult learning techniques
4. Expert ability in developing highly detailed WBT storyboards and ILT design layouts using set design templates
5. AI experience
6. Insurance Industry experience
Nice To Have Skills:
7. Degree/Diploma in Adult Education or Instructional Design
8. Bilingual (English/French)
Job Responsibilities:
9. Creating video demonstrations, retention activities and assessments for e-learning modules
10. Implementing curriculum design principles and standards that ensure consistency, flexibility, and sustainability of learning materials.
11. Formulate key questions regarding content/design and work efficiently with SMEs to resolve them.
12. Complete voicing and editing for web-based modules.
13. Ensure all components of design align and support the programs’ learning objectives, desired outcomes, and program strategy.
14. Provide effective knowledge testing throughout the programs using platforms such as quizzes, learning activities, knowledge checks, decision-based scenarios, and case studies.
15. Developing digital, engaging and interactive learning solutions consisting of: web based modules, self-guided digital learning solutions, virtual classroom and/or instructor led.
16. Demonstrate decision-making skills regarding artistic vision of curriculum builds and how to transform content into engaging and interactive experiences for our learners.
