We are currently working with a global financial institution and are looking for a Java Developer. We are seeking a Java Developer to enable the success of a new platform which is currently being introduced across the organisation. A skilled and passionate developer is needed with Agile/DevOps and modern deployment practices enhance the application feature set.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and be a key part of an efficient agile delivery team for the roll out and take care to ensure the backlog of requested features is groomed and prioritized for delivery in order
Ensure a first line of support is provided to all customers and potential customers supporting onboarding where required
Establish key relationships with PMO & Change Management and ensure the success of the roll out continues
Look for further automation and simplification opportunities that arise with the organisation
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
Experienced front-to-back developer with experience in Java/Kotlin & React/Angular
Proven track record of working with a delivery-focused agile team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
Desirable would be an individual with experience of working in or running development teams in a banking environment

This role will be hybrid with 3 days working from the office in Belfast. Although the role is initially for a 12-month period there is a high possibility of extension.
