The role: Full Time 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Are you looking for a rewarding role working with SEN learners in a secondary school setting? Do you have prior experience working with children and supporting their development?
Simply Education are working with a number of Secondary schools in the Medway area who are seeking to recruit 1:1 Teaching Assistants on a full time basis. The role will include working with a learner to support them in their social, emotional, and educational development throughout the day.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils' learning across various subjects
- Assist teachers in classroom activities
- Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to pupils' social and emotional development
We are looking for people with:
- Prior experience working with children (educational setting preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and ability to motivate young learners
- Flexibility to work across different year groups
- Commitment to supporting pupils' diverse needs
