The role
As a Mechanical Engineer you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be working within a supportive team environment, where you will use your skills and enthusiasm to develop, integrate and test mission critical systems, at the cutting edge of their domain. You will be deployed direct to role and will use your on-the-job experiences and training to make a real difference for our customers.
Day-to-day, you’ll be supporting the business to deliver:
1. Technical documentation, 3D CAD and technical drawings, operating instructions, etc
2. Concept setting out, including material selection, and scoping calculations.
3. The full lifecycle engineering experience / awareness.
4. Defining test instructions along with reviewing and interpreting results.
5. Understanding of the non-conformance and change request processes.
6. Perform and report root cause analysis and fault finding, along with detailing and proving solutions.
This role is full time and is a hybrid role with 2 day per month onsite at our Ashton House site.
Essential experience of the Mechanical Engineer:
7. Have experience of origination of mechanical engineering deliverables, i.e. technical documentation, 3D CAD and technical drawings, operating instructions, etc
8. Concept setting out, including material selection, and scoping calculations.
9. Full lifecycle engineering experience / awareness.
10. Capability to define test instructions along with reviewing and interpreting results.
Qualifications for the Mechanical Engineer:
11. Mechanical Engineering Degree, or HND or HNC in Mechanical Engineering Discipline with demonstrable experience and capability of working in an engineering role.
12. UK passport

13. The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
