B4B Renewables in the last 12 months have acquired Daly Renewables limited, a leading provider for renewable technology to homes and commercial premises across the country with over 12 yrs experience, their impressive record includes over 400 successful installations, demonstrating their expertise in executing complex, technical solution with precision. B4B Renewables is an innovative and ambitious company at the forefront of the renewable energy sector, currently in the early stages of its journey. They are now looking for a forward-thinking and strategic Managing Director to lead the organisation, shape its vision, and unlock its full market potential. Roles and Responsibilities: Direct and control the work and resources of B4B Renewables Ltd and ensure the recruitment and retention of the required numbers and types of well-motivated, trained and developed staff to achieve its organisational goals. Building and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders across the renewables industry and government policy Prepare an annual business plan for approval by the Board and monitor progress to ensure that the company attains its objectives as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible, managing the budget within your delegated authority and achieving financial targets. Report regularly and comprehensively to the Board on Business Operations and performance. Devise and implement a Marketing Strategy to drive increased brand awareness within the industry. Devise and implement a robust Sales Strategy to maximise market penetration. Build commercially sound and strategically ambitious roadmap areas of focus to grow the business. Ensure systems are efficient and effective, ensuring that revenue flows are maximised and that fixed costs are minimised. Provide strategic advice and guidance to the Board, to keep them aware of developments within the industry including product development and ensure that the appropriate strategies are developed to meet the companys goals. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with sub-contractors and agencies critical to the delivery of the business operations Direct the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that the company complies with all health and safety and other statutory regulations. What do we look for? A proven record of success in senior-level general management, preferably from within the renewables sector Sales Leadership. A successful track record in devising and executing sales strategy with clients in b2b sector, including day to day leadership and direction of sales teams. At least 10 years senior-level experience of management of people and resources. A good knowledge of the renewables industry (Preferable) An understanding of financial management and wider management principles and techniques. Political and presentational skills with an appreciation of the demands of conflicting interests and of meeting statutory requirements. A high level of commercial awareness. Team building and leadership skills with the ability to inspire your team towards a common goal Excellent communication, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills the ability to establish and form excellent working relationships with colleagues across the B4B Group.
