Ashby ward is an 18 bedded specialised Rehabilitation unit for people with physical disabilities, sited in Lincoln county hospital. Ashby ward is a Friendly ward that cares for male and female patients. The nursing team are very caring, friendly, and compassionate and provide a high standard of nursing care

What we're looking for.....
We are looking to recruit a caring, motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our existing team. Ideal person must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide excellent care, excellent communication and interpersonal skill. Rehabilitation ward can be a stressful environment, therefore the role required innovative individual who can remain calm under pressure. They need to be able to demonstrate caring and compassionate nursing. The successful candidate needs to be flexible and able to work autonomously but also show be able to work effectively within the team. Previous experience in the health care setting would be an advantage but is not essential as United Lincolnshire offer a full induction programme and support.

Qualifications
Essential
1. English and Maths qualification at GCSE grades A*-C, or Functional Skills Level 2
Desirable
2. Completed apprenticeship in relevant field of practice
3. Successful completion of the Care Certificate
4. NVQ Level 2/3 in a Health Related area or equivalent experience
5. ECDL qualification or equivalent
Previous Experience

6. Experience of working in a customer focused environment
7. Experience of using computer systems for data entry and retrieval

8. Previous experience of working in a health / care setting

9. Understanding the role of the Health Care Support Worker
