We are working with a medium sized freight forwarder close to Heathrow Airport, who are looking to recruit either a Part Qualified Accountant or a candidate with a degree in accounts along with work experience.
We are looking for an individual who has an accounts qualification and good all round account experience, including Management accounts for AIS, Sales figures reporting and reconciliations, bank management good Excel experience and able to manipulate data, the credit control side can be trained. Experience of Sage advantage
Role Involves:
· Maintain and issue weekly and monthly account statements to clients
· Query Resolution, resolving disputes efficiently with co-ordinators and
directors
· Building relationships with clients with regular contact
· Customer Account maintenance
· Daily Bank Download and manage cash allocation
· Bank cheques and cash received. Take out Petty cash from bank
· Take and process credit card payments
· Daily Invoice Upload from SIGMA and Move ware
· Weekly Bank Report for Directors
· Calculate and prepare monthly Sales figures across 3 Companies
· Produce monthly SIGMA Profitability Reports
· Debt management and liaising with solicitors
· Perform credit assessments using credit rating portals - Red Flag
· Sales Ledger Account Reconciliations
· Produce weekly commentary for Financial Controller on Debt situation
· Produce weekly cash flow forecasts
· Provide cover for Purchase Ledger during periods of absence
· Be able to process Bank payments, FX Payments and Caxton Uploads
· Monthly ICO Reconciliation with TBS Inc and FX Payment
· Process TBS Credit Card monthly
· AIS Management Accounts - Prepayments/Accruals and Journals
• Manage the Sales Ledger and be responsible for credit collections, ensuring that credit terms are enforced across all 3 companies
· Chasing Debt and obtain payment using effective collection techniques - telephone or email
Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm all office based.
Salary Depends on experience.
