As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary where you’ll continue to deliver airworthy and serviceable aircraft to our customer in a fast paced, challenging and real-life operational setting critical to future defence output. We work on piston engine aircraft, with carbon fibre frames. Training can be provided for any gaps.
Day to day, you’ll work together in collaboration with our customer to provide aircrafts to be used in elementary flying training and air experience flights alongside auxiliary support services such as mechanical transport, air traffic control and airfield fire and crash rescue, as well as:
* Responsible for the generation and release to service of serviceable and safe aircraft in accordance with civilian legislation/regulation and in line with company approvals.
* Ensure aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance and all other engineering related activities and services are provided as required to meet and exceed customer expectations and LAFT2 contractual needs at all times.
This is a full time role is based onsite at RAF Woodvale however the company may, on occasion, ask you to deploy to other sites or support detachments at other operating locations.
