EMEA Security Manager
Job Description
As a senior security specialist, you will lead all security operations and compliance within the EMEA region. This includes classified program support, crisis management, business resiliency planning, traveller and program security risk mitigation, personnel, physical, and technical asset security, and support for security investigations and insider threat detection.
You will provide security support and oversight to the Global Enterprise Security organization across the region, working with multiple business units and subsidiaries. You will report to the Sector Director International Security and work closely with other security leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and develop the EMEA regional security function.
2. Oversee security operations and compliance across the region, focusing on UK and other EMEA countries.
3. Manage a team of security professionals and foster relationships with site leads, MDs, and regional leadership.
4. Provide security support for personnel, property, assets, programs, and information.
5. Lead crisis management and business resiliency efforts.
6. Partner with corporate and sector security teams to support business pursuits and proposals.
7. Assess security risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate concerns.
8. Collaborate with in-country and in-region security teams to drive excellence in local security management.
9. Support cyber security efforts and provide security support to sector CISO and Security leadership.
10. Review, analyse, recommend, and implement security solutions to meet standards.
11. Foster and maintain effective working relationships with the teams, customers, and national security agencies.
12. Provide inputs and guidance on UK requirements to sector Security leadership and the Security Council.
13. Update and maintain security procedures and documentation.
14. Support Corporate Security Council Strategies and plans in EMEA.
15. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and best practices.
Essential Qualifications/Experience
1. Demonstrable experience in the Security profession at a senior manager level within Government and/or the defence industry, engaging /advising at VP and Director Level.
2. Proven track record of effective team leadership in both direct and matrixed organisations.
3. Successful delivery of significant security projects within a major global organisation.
4. Experience of leading and delivering during transition within a fast-changing environment.
5. ISO27001 familiarity.
One or more of the following Security certifications:
1. Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
2. Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
3. Industrial Security Professional (ISP).
4. NIST Cyber security Framework (NCSF).
Other requirements:
1. Travel requirements: Occasional travel, both in the UK and throughout the EMEA region, attending meetings, conferences, training activities, performing security assessments, and undertaking various security project activities.
2. Valid UK driving licence and current passport.
3. Clearance requirements: The post-holder must hold or have recently held a UK DV clearance and be capable of achieving the highest level of government clearance for this role.
