What will I be doing?
As a Marketing Manager you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
14. Working with the Commercial Director to set and implement the Sales & Marketing strategy for the business
15. Implement and manage multichannel Online & Digital Marketing Strategy including: * SEO * Email Marketing * Web Content * Social Media * Press Releases *
16. Ensure that the hotel iscorrectly represented on all quality internet sites and online travel agents that have the potential of providing business *
17. Devise and coordinate photo requirements and opportunities
18. Maintain the marketing database for F&B (Seven Rooms)
19. Implement and manage multichannel Offline Marketing Strategy including: * Design and produce all marketing material for the hotel– including brochures, posters etc.
20. Provide each department with creative and unique tools to assist in the sales and marketing of the departments including events, weddings, food and beverage sales, etc.
21. Maintain effective internal communications and act as liaison between Head Office and Hotel to ensure all sales and promotional opportunities are identified and advertised effectively to potential guests
22. Analyse, support and report on various KPIs
23. Looking after the budget of the marketing department and making sure the budget spend is delivering a return on investment.
What are we looking for?
24. Degree in Marketing or Hotel Management and / or Experience of working in a similar marketing position in the hospitality sector
25. Proven knowledge of creating, leading and managing projects to tight deadlines
26. Understanding of key functions relating to marketing strategies and initiatives whilst managing multiple work streams and stakeholders
27. Developing and implementing effective and realistic marketing plans and strategies, including budget evaluation, management and reporting
28. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with various levels of management
29. Outstanding communication skills in all areas of writing, listening and speaking English.
30. Communicate key information effectively to all levels of management using a variety of communication tools
31. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, project and time management
32. Able to think analytically, critically and strategically when faced with unique opportunities, challenges, prioritising and identifying productive solutions
33. Ability to influence others in key situations whilst maintaining positive relationships
34. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to include strong leadership, cultural sensitivity
35. Ability to relate to the marketing world and adapt to changing priorities quickly and with ease
36. Professional approach and well-groomed at all times
37. Excellent problem solving and decision making skills, can work autonomously whilst keeping all parties informed
38. Creatively minded and has a thirst to work in marketing for the hospitality industry
39. Demonstrated self-starter with excellent attention to detail
40. Resourcefulness, customer focused and results oriented
41. Enjoys working collaboratively, key team player with a “can do” attitude and thrives on a challenge
It will be advantageous in this position if you demonstrate the following capabilities and advantages:
Previous experience of working in a marketing role or another commercial role in the hotel industry
