Job description
Are you a committed and engaging individual looking to make a positive impact on the lives of others?
Do you want to develop your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?
We are growing our team in Quinton and are seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants to provide specialist, person centered care to our service users, within their own homes.
Meet our service user
Our service user is a happy young lady who lives with her family in Quinton.
She attends school during the week, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to join her team.
You will meet her at school at the end of the day and accompany her home by taxi, continuing the oversight and delivery of her specialist 1:1 care at home.
We’re looking for interactive and engaging individuals to assist her in accessing the activities she enjoys. This includes going out in the community and visiting the park, spending quality time with family at home, engaging in sensory play, listening to music, and watching movies like Moana and Enchanted. She also enjoys being pampered and having her nails painted.
She is dependent on the support of her care team for all her transfers and moving and handling requirements and in addition to this, you will meet all aspects of her day-to-day care needs, deliver her clinical interventions and carry out regular observations, always remaining vigilant.
This young lady is registered blind and unable to communicate verbally. To avoid her becoming distressed or frustrated, it is key that you spend time to get to know the unique signals and cues she uses to make her needs known, such as facial expressions and sounds.
This rewarding part-time role offers around 16.5 hours per week, over 3 days.
Benefits of this role include
1. Competitive Pay Rates
