The Role: Head of Nursing and Quality
We are seeking an experienced Health & Social Care Leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as our new Head of Nursing and Quality in Wales. The successful candidate will provide professional leadership for all non-medical clinical staff across Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of person-centred, safe and effective care
* Develop robust clinical workforce plans and ensure clinical teams are prepared and able to care
* Ensure a robust governance framework is in place to optimise standards, manage risk, and facilitate an open learning culture to support continuous quality improvement
Requirements:
* Ability to professionally lead multi-professional alliances across teams and organisations
* Registered professional educated to degree level or equivalent experience of working at a senior level in a Health and Social care in the Private, Public or Voluntary sector
* Evidence of operational management and leadership skills including managing clinical teams in terms of workforce development, recruitment and retention, performance, and capability management
* Relevant qualifications required to undertake the Responsible Individual / Registered Manager role as outlined by the relevant regulator
* Extensive experience in Palliative and end of life care
