Property Inspector
Birmingham - field based role (expected travel from home to properties)
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum

Overview:
Concept Housing Association CIC have a new opportunity for a Property Inspector to join the quality assurance team, whose function is to ensure that managing agents are meeting the required standards in line with compliance, service regulations and policies & procedures.
You will be inspecting the properties where our tenants live and are looked after by our managing agents. Youll be involved in liaising and meeting with the managing agents daily, maintaining and developing the audit framework for completing inspections and planning any necessary follow up inspections in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities: Utilising inspection and measurement techniques with reference to company policy and procedures and statutory requirements.
Identify areas of non-compliance and provide guidance to the providers to overcome issues identified.
Ensuring records are kept up to date, and all status updates are accurately captured on our internal systems.
Ensuring providers are committed to the implementation of process improvements so that contract and framework agreements are met, in line with set targets.
Assisting team members and providers with property / document related queries.
Produce detailed feedback to providers when required while recording all audit outcomes on the required system.
Delivery of accurate and meaningful management information to management in line with agreed timescales.
Identify and solve operational problems whilst understanding and recognising any broader impact across the operation.
About You:
We are looking for someone with: Relevant experience working within the property sector.
An understanding of housing maintenance.
Experience in the management of repairs and the ability to read and interpret technical reports.
Experience of administering and managing multiple contracts working with service providers and delivering positive performance.
Experience of working with external stakeholders and building relationships with others.
Experience of working to deadlines.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal with a proven ability to influence and empower colleagues.
Good numeracy and IT skills with experience of the Microsoft suite of products.
You will also hold a full driving licence and have access to a car for business purposes as you will be required to travel between sites.
