About the role
Join the busy Learning and Development Team and help to ensure our social work and social care workforce has the right skills and knowledge to deliver excellent services for the citizens of Ceredigion.
Using your skills and experience as a qualified and registered social worker you will develop and deliver training for council staff and the external social care workforce. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting and coordinating our Trainee Social Work Scheme.
This is an exciting position in an award winning, ambitious, and innovative team that has just started incorporating Virtual Reality into training delivery. We are looking for enthusiasm, a flexible approach and a commitment and passion for learning and team working. An excellent communicator, you will work in partnership with other local authorities and social care training providers to offer development opportunities, qualifications and training that makes a positive difference to our social work/care workforce.
Attending Train the Trainer events and subsequently planning and delivering the roll out of training programmes will be a key element of this role.
For the right person with the right skills, Hybrid Working/Part-time working/Job Share would be considered. We are willing to be flexible and plan our on-line and face to face training delivery in a way that works for us and for you.
