The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Manager to join our dynamic team.
As the Senior Quality Assurance Manager, you will act as our quality assurance lead to implement our management systems and drive process improvements of our quality, health, safety and environmental management systems. You will lead our internal audit program and oversee our customer satisfaction survey process to identify areas of improvement and opportunities’ that will help us drive our business forward and delight our clients. You will manage our Risk Register and risk management process and support the implementation of this across our operations, to drive robust processes to identify and mitigate risk.
You will also provide support and advice to regional Operational teams, FM consultancy, FM24 Helpdesk and the global Executive team.
Main Responsibilities
Coordinate annual and periodic management reviews of the Quality Management Systems aligned with our ISO certifications.
Manage updates to Macro’s internal business processes, activity guides and templates.
Creation and coordination of the annual audit / inspection schedule. Undertake audits in line with the schedule and create, train and mentor a team of cross-functional internal auditors.
Participate and assist leading external audits on behalf of Macro for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001 and others as applicable.
Support central teams and operational teams on new contract mobilisations, including the creation of contract specific playbooks.
Training of Macro staff in use of management systems.
Identify process improvements and efficiencies and implement changes.
Liaise with colleagues to develop, review and maintain standards for processes and procedures.
Produce monthly reports covering quality performance metrics (the Quality League Table).
Analyse results of reporting, audits, corrective actions, operations reports focusing on root causes to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Coordinate communications from team on system updates, legislation changes, other business updates.
Communication and support of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality objectives and implement at contract level.
Identify and communicate areas of improvement and best practice.
Support business on close out of any corrective actions.
Support the QHSEW/responsible business department to provide more effective analysis of data to enable continual improvement.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience with implementing or maintaining ISO 14001 / ISO 45001.
Excellent stakeholder communication and engagement skills.
Disciplined approach with good organisation, prioritisation and planning skills.
Demonstrated process approach to problem solving and focus on continuous improvement.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Good record management skills.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suites and an ability to adapt to learn new non-Microsoft software.
Ability to work in a team and alone as the activity requires.
Willingness to learn, develop and grow within a rapidly growing global company,
Preferably Health, Safety and Environmental working experience but not essential.
Membership of CQI.
Tech IOSH / Grad IOSH status with an appetite to gain Chartered member of IOSH status.
ISO 27001 auditor / lead auditor qualification and work experience.
Relevant Environmental membership (E.g. IEMA Certificate).
Understanding of facilities management market and services.
ISO 9001 auditor / lead auditor qualification and strong experience with ISO 9001 quality management system.
