WHAT TO EXPECT
As a Process Leader, you will be working as part of the Paint Shop MP&L team based at DC3 in Ryton.
You will oversee a team of 12 FLT drivers and 3 analysts. You and your team will manage the movement of unpainted and painted body shells between the Paint Shops at Solihull and Ryton.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
* Supervising duties within the department, including managing all FLT hourly heads and data analysts within the departments.
* Ensure body prep area has constant feed of fresh bodies and ageing bodies are repaired in the correct order.
* Maintain min/max levels for consumables used within the paint shop, including ordering of consumables from IESA to replenish the paint shop stores.
* Ensure processes are followed within the department and lead any problem-solving activities (8D, 5F, CCAR Boards).
* Provide assistance with all internal and external audits and closing out of any issues highlighted during them.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
* Adopt and promote a continuous improvement mindset.
* Experience with Metric delivery and KPIs.
* Ability to form working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
