Key Responsibilities
The Insect Production Manager will collaborate with existing management members and oversee a team of over 50 staff members.
1. Data System Implementation: Establish a data collection system tracking food inputs, hatch rates, yields, and environmental data to improve production efficiency.
2. Production Planning: Develop and execute detailed production plans.
3. Trial Management: Design and oversee trials to boost productivity and reduce waste.
4. Procurement: Manage procurement of all materials and feed needed for insect breeding and packing.
5. Cost Control: Monitor and manage production costs to achieve profitability goals.
6. Insect Health Management: Maintain the health of insect stock through biosecurity measures, optimal feeding, watering, and breeding practices.
